Katie Meehan is a Professional Photographer based in Orlando, Florida, specializing in family portraiture, weddings and commercial work. Katie’s recent credits include: The current cover of Playground Magazine, a feature article in the November 2008 Rangefinder Magazine, an international Portrait and Wedding Photography publication, The Collection of Winter Park television commercial currently airing, showcasing her photography of the salon’s gowns and a feature fashion article on Vera Wang’s 2009 gown collection in the current issue of Ines Del Mar Magazine, an international bridal publication.

Katie is a member of the American Child Photographer’s Charity Guild (www.acpcg.com), which is a non-profit volunteer based organization of photographers from all over the country who dedicate time to children in need and their families; she is also a member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, Professional Photographers of America and Professional Photographers Society of Central Florida, she is a guest speaker with the Orlando Museum of Art’s mOMArt program quarterly.

Katie has three children, ages 4, 6 and 8 and is a third generation Central Florida native. Katie is well known for her lifestyle approach to children and family work, as well as capturing the intimate circle of a woman’s life: her walk down the aisle, the first pregnancy, her babies as they grow and the day she is covered up in grandchildren.
