Not to be outdone by the little green men celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with shamrocks and beer this month, National Ravioli Day, March 21, gives Italian food lovers a chance to rejoice. (Yes, there really is a National Ravioli Day, apparently.) BRIO Tuscan Grille and BRAVO! Cucina Italiana want to help you celebrate this day of yummy food with half-priced Ravioli, yum. Let’s look at what each will offer…
At BRIO Tuscan Grille ravioli lovers will enjoy two scrumptious dishes:
- A Mushroom Ravioli baked in a signature Alfredo sauce and topped with toasted Parmesan bread crumbs and tomatoes, in a lunch portion for $7 or in a dinner portion for $7.50.
- A Lobster Ravioli with Crab Insalata with lemon vinaigrette and a Limoncello butter sauce, in a dinner portion for $9.50.
Raviloli fans at BRAVO! Cucina Italiana will find four tempting dishes:
- The Crispy Mozzarella Ravioli is served with marinara and creamy horseradish sauce for for $5 all day.
- The Cheese Ravioli Alforno a house-made cheese ravioli striped with basil-pine nut pesto and tomato sauces over Alfredo sauce, is being offered for $5.50 as a lunch entrée or dinner appetizer.
- The Chianti Braised Beef Ravioli is a Sangiovese braised beef-filled ravioli served with roasted sweet potatoes, brown butter and sage will be offered as a lunch entree for $6.
- The Lobster Ravioli alla Vodka is served with sautéed shrimp and grape tomatoes in a tomato cream sauce and will be offered in an appetizer portion for $5, a lunch portion for $5.50 and a dinner portion for $8 on National Ravioli Day.
