As overindulgence threatens to expand your waistline, take hostage of that impending holiday guilt and show your pants who’s boss. Lace up the kid’s sneakers and race on down for one these family-friendly Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trots before the great feast.
Seniors First Turkey Trot 5K @ Lake Eola Park
Start out your day with some exercise and enjoy a guilt-free afternoon. Have a gobblin’ good time by wearing your best turkey hats, Pilgrim attire, and aprons and come out to help raise funds for Meals On Wheels and other programs that support our community’s seniors. The 5K race begins at 8 a.m. with the Tot Trot (100 - 400 yard courses) following in its footsteps at 9:15 a.m.
All paid 5K entrants will get a cool t-shirt and awards will be bestowed upon the top ten male and top ten female runners. Special prizes will be awarded for youngest and oldest participant.

- 5K: Through Nov. 13: $26; Nov. 14 - 24: $29, Race Day: $35 (cash or check only)
- Trot Tot: FREE

Feeding Children Everywhere is excited to bring Seminole County its exclusive Thanksgiving Day Holiday 5K event. What a great way to start the day with the family by coming out and participating in a healthy event for a great cause!
Awards for the top ten women and top ten men will be given. All registered participants will get a Turkey Day 5K t-shirt.

Stroll through the beautiful scenery of Leu Gardens, open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, and revel in all that you’re thankful for. Admission is $7 for adults, $2 for kids K through 12th grade, and free for kids not yet in Kindergarten.

Tap your feet to the rhythm and reflect on life’s blessings while listening to carillon music at Bok Towers’ Thanksgiving Day Concerts, held at 1 and 3 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $3 for children ages 3 - 5 years old, and free for kids under 3.
